Health & Safety

School Health Policy for St. Anthony's Students

At St. Anthony's School Hisar, the wellbeing of our students is our primary concern. Our campus is equipped with first-aid facilities and trained staff to handle minor health issues during school hours.

We believe a child excels in a loving and caring environment. It is our utmost priority to provide a safe and conducive learning environment. Such an environment is most ideal for your child to enjoy, learn and grow. Please contact the School and report to the School head in case of any communicable diseases (including head lice) that your child has contracted, so the School can take extra precautions to ensure they are not spread. All information will be held in the strictest confidence.

Parents may not bring children to School when any of the following symptoms are present:

  • A fever of 100 degrees or higher (unmedicated)
  • Appearing ill / unwell despite having no fever.
  • Rashes unless approved by their physician and accompanied by a note saying it is not contagious.
  • Persistent cough
  • Diarrhoea or vomiting
  • Disease or infestation.
  • Coloured mucus.
  • Head lice.
  • Conjunctivitis (pink eye).
Returning to School After Illness

Children who have been kept home due to fever or contagious symptoms should only return once they have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours without the use of medicine. This helps us maintain a healthy learning atmosphere for all students and faculty members.
